Today we did an exercise in choosing the appropriate trig tool. We then did two problem solving examples (posted below). Assigned practice was page #427 #C1-C3, 1-7.
Apologies for not updating since last Thursday. On Monday and Tuesday we learned about the Cosine Law. Scanned notes are posted below. Tuesday's practice is p. 417 #C1, 1, 2, 3a, 4, 5a, 6a, 8-11.
Today we learned about the Sine Law. All students were present. HW was page 401 #C2, 1-5, 7, 9, 10.

Today we reviewed some algebra skills from grade 9, and used them to solve more complicated equations. The scanned note is posted below. We then had fun and played some Jeopardy.
